Each year, the CROP Hunger Walk raises money to help stop hunger in both our own communities and around the world. An estimated 2,000 cities across the country participate in this walk every year. In 2008, over $7,000 was raised in Toledo alone, with a portion of it going to the local Feed Your Neighbor Ministry. The goal for 2009 was $8,000 and was met thanks to all the walkers and volunteers. The CROP Hunger Walk in Toledo is usually on the first weekend in October at both Pearson and Ottawa Parks. Details about the upcoming 2010 Walk will be posted soon!
