Keeping It Together’s Kick Off Event!

Keeping It TogetherKeeping It Together (KIT), a new program of Toledo Area Ministries, is a multi-faceted program that will focus on marriage and relationship stability, economic stability and subsidized employment. KIT recently received a grant in October of 2011 from the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families Office of Family Assistance. Keeping It Together will serve couples, individuals and youth in the Lucas County area that are below the 200% poverty level.

KIT hosted its’ kick-off event on Tuesday March 20, 2012 at 10:00 am at Toledo Area Ministries main headquarters. Community partners and staff gathered around as Rev. Stephen Anthony, Executive Director of Toledo Area Ministries, and Avis Files, Director of Keeping It Together, officially announced that KIT is up and running and prepared to take off.
